《教学目标及特色》
本课程是一门进阶级商务英语沟通训练。透过核心商务技能主题情境,例如商务社交,简报和演说技巧,会议发言,主持会议技巧,提案建议,双赢商务谈判等主题,培养学员整合国际商务英语沟通和商务领导技能,适合已具有初中阶英语实力者晋级提升职场竞争力,储备未来晋升管理阶层的职场技能。
本课程以全英语授课的方式,以引导互动和情境演练的教学方式鼓励学员练习使用听觉感官和口说语感来提升外语学习力。
课堂除提纲契领讲述核心商务技能之外,着重在听力和口语表达的训练,模仿各单主题进行分组情境对话练习,或是情境角色扮演或小组讨论案例,训练学员以得体的英语来表达个人想法和提升在会议中发表意见的逻辑条理性,语意的流畅度,以树立自信的专业风采。
此外,课程教材摘要国际商务多元文化差异性和如何影响商务行为模式,以协助学员提升跨国企业职场文化敏感度和多元文化融合力。

The course is good for intermediate learners to seek advancement on their business English communicative skills in both speaking and listening. Ultimately, we hope to help learners prepare themselves for a successful career in the managerial positions of international business arena.
The course is designated to help learners develop key business English skills both in listening and oral communications. The course mainly focus on core business skills such as: Presentations, Open and Lead Meetings, Negotiations, Making a Recommendation, Power talk skills and a number of managerial skills required to pursue a successful career in international business arena.  
In addition, The issue of work culture differences is noted on the textbook to remind students of cultural impact on common business situations.
The class is designed to provide students an interactive learning environment to stimulate their interests and boost up their confidence in English acquisition. Therefore, students are encouraged to adopt listen-and-simulate approach to advance their linguistic skills. Students are to work in pair or in group to discuss various core business topics and are expected to present their ideas and performances in class. 
Learners are required to present themselves with good attendance and to keep active engaging attitude to all class activities.

Exit Test(结训口试): 
 Oral Presentation (3 to 5 minutes)
Students are asked to choose one of the following topics for your final exit test. Each individual is required to deliver a 3-to-5 minute talk in English with visual aids.
 
Topic 1: Making a recommendation on how to revive sales of Spring Field Department (individual work)

Topic 2: Present a structural argument (individual work)
Choose one of the proposals on the textbook P51 task 3. Organize your reasons into a logic order. Be ready to explain and emphasize each reason. Then prepare a short introduction and conclusion. Students can refer to the model from the listening activity CD8 (p.30) and CD15(p.50). 

Topic 3: Role-play a negotiation (pair- up work)
Choose either situation 1 or situation 2 from the textbook on page 70 and page 71 Task 1 to negotiation a deal and reach agreement. Each party of the pair has to decide on your target for the negotiation and prepare arguments.    
Situation 1: A negotiation between an inventor and a manufacturer. 
Situation 2: A negotiation between a consultant and Barters Group.
