英语影集是英美语国家一般人看的电视节目，是他们生活的一部分。
看英语影集学英文可以更直接认识英语的在地用法，掌握英语发音、语汇与文法等的用法，以及相关英语文化的讯息。本课程是透过影片字幕讲解剧情、人物、场景、情境等相关背景基本知识与英语用语后，在理解内容的基础下进行剧情和人物的快问快答或讨论。后再看一次讲解后的影片内容以加强学习效果。

英文的生活用语, 多为常用的基本字汇组合; 这课程的任务是架起一座桥,让我们从认识英文的生活用语的桥端上进入到相对的中文生活用语的另一端.
