目標及特色
This intensive course aims to develop students’ metacognitive skills in reading and writing step by step. The course covers essential reading strategies, reading and writing connection, and paragraph structure. Students will develop their ability as critical readers and writers through lectures, videos, pair/group discussions, and reading and writing practices.
Upon completing the course, students are expected to:
- enhance reading skills and critical thinking ability
- paraphrase and summarize texts
- describe visual content, such as graphs and diagrams
- compose a unified and coherent paragraph with a clear view

1 Materials will be prepared by the instructor and distributed in class
抵免科目：2022年暑期修習「英語聽力與口說」與「英語閱讀與寫作」，修畢且成績及格者，此兩門課程合計可申請抵免大學英文（一），計3學分。
